Take the Plunge for
Special Olympics TN.

Come and join hundreds of brave individuals on Saturday, February 20th and support Special Olympics Tennessee athletes by jumping into the chilly waters of Percy Priest Lake at Nashville Shores (map). With just $50 in donations each plunger receives the official long-sleeved Plunge t-shirt, lunch and all bragging rights associated with such a brave endeavor. Registration starts at 11am and plunging begins at noon.

It's easy to participate! Just follow these 3 steps:

Step 1. You need to register online or complete the registration form in the brochure and mail to Special Olympics Tennessee.

Step 2. Begin collecting donations to support your plunge. Use the donation form in the brochure or create a Personal Online Fundraising page. Each plunger must raise a minimum $50 to plunge.

Step 3. Bring all collected donations to the Plunge on February 20th. Online fundriaising totals will be available at registration.

*Plunge in anything but a wet suit.

*Costumes are strongly encouraged and awarded!

*Shoes are required!

*All plungers will sign a waiver of release and plungers under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian signature.

Plunging as part of a Team?
*A team consists of at least 3 plungers.
*Each team member must register, sign the waiver & raise the required minimum donation.
*Be sure to include your team name on the registration form or on the online registration
*All donations raised by each team member will be added to the team total.
*A team member is also eligible for individual awards.

2010 Chicken Plunge
Jumping into the freezing waters of Percy Priest Lake isn’t for everyone, but the Polar Plunge is! Participate as a Chicken Plunger and you will “plunge” into our ankle deep chicken pool. Chickens will need to raise the required $50 minimum and in exchange will receive the official Chicken Plunge t-shirt and lunch. Chickens are eligible to earn all of the other Nashville Plunge incentive prizes.
